The Ambassador Competition has moved to the Entertainment Building. Introduction of the Contestants will be at the Grandstand at 7 pm with the official fair opening.
Come cheer on your favourite contestant vying for Ambassador of the Wallacetown Fair.
Each contestant will say a speech and answer an impromptu question. He or she will represent the fair at District and the CNE. Good luck to all our representatives and a big thank you to all their sponsors.

Majinx will be at the Grandstand on Saturday only at
2:00 pm, 4:00pm and 8:30 pm in the Entertainment Building
PARADE – NOON ON SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 30TH
AT THE GRANDSTAND
Registration for the parade is at 10:30 – 11:00 am with judging to commence sharply at 11:00 am.
Registration will take place on the infield portion of the track near the mid-backstretch.
Stay and watch the Commemorative Match Race – Man Versus Beast following the parade.
Country Roots and Rubber Boots! Imagine the possibilities to decorate your float! Get together with friends, family, sports teams, etc. and enter the parade!
Floats to enter through the back-entrance gate from Sifton Street proceeding to the track and turning left on the track. Parade will assemble at the fairgrounds, on the track on the backstretch of the racetrack and infield.
Entries to be in place before 11:00 am with judging to commence at 11:00 am SHARP.
No registration is needed at the office.
PLEASE SEE PARADE COMMITTEE AT THE REGISTRATION AREA ON THE BACKSTRETCH.

Mud Bogg and The Mudmen- 7:30 pm Saturday, September 30th at the Grandstand
New this year – You gotta come and see this. We are building a mud bogg in front of the grandstand to delight all ages.
Classes are Truck/ SUV, Car, ATV and Snowmobile. Runs based on elapsed time.
Prize Money – 1st – $250 2nd – $100 and 3rd – $50.
Pit size – estimate of 40 feet wide x 160 feet long with 18 inches or better in depth. (See rules under Mud Bogg)
The Mudmen – Celtic Rock Warriors are a high energy band that will leave you wanting more. Inbetween pulls the Mudmen will be at the Grandstand for your entertainment. If the weather is poor – look for them in the 4-H building.
